We Found Love

"It's like you're screaming but no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone could be that important, that without them, you feel like nothing. No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you. And when it's over and it's gone, you almost wish that you could have all that bad stuff back so you can have the good."
We Found Love // Rihanna ft. Calvin Harris

It is not actually possible to love a video more than i love this one. I mean, i thought Only Girl In The World was amazing but Rihanna's latest video exceeds all expectations. The raw emotions portrayed in this film suit the lyrics perfectly; i adore the fast paced movement of the imagery which incorporates a range of issues such as drug abuse, sex and heartbreak. The old-school grunge styling and dark tone to the film complement each other and Rihanna embraces her look to the full, i now have an urge to rip my tights and pair them with an oversized denim shirt and a tattoo. She is the perfect badass...not to mention her co-star Dudley O'Shaughnessy is haaawwt. I shall leave this post revelling in the immense-ness of the creativity Rihanna and her team have yet again produced to the highest standard, enveloping the audience in a different world.

  10. I really like the video but I don't really like the actually song, it sounds very sloppily done, and the techno overtones are a bit too much, but the video is beautiful! I just wish that they would spend a lot of time writing the songs and making them the main focus of the video instead of the actual video if you know what I mean. But this video looked really really beautiful!
