You may think the wedding (and the numerous extravagant circumstances surrounding it) between Kim Kardashian and Kanye West was a crass display of their riches. Palace of Versailles and an ancient Italian fort? Of course it was. But what else do you expect from these two with one of them being a self-professed 'God' (ref. "I Am A God") and the other being television's biggest reality star? However, you cannot deny that this family's combined wardrobe has turned many faces a shade of green. Their escapades around Paris in the week before the enormous colossal monumental big day certainly made me envious of the sisters' style and don't even get me started on Kim's killer body.

Jay Z and Kanye West @ Radio 1's Hackney Weekend
This was a bit delayed but because of my contemplative state I was hesitant whether or not to post this. So, now I've made up my mind, enjoy this monumental moment.
Judging by the last performance of day one at Radio 1's Big Weekend, it may as well have been called the Jay Z and Kanye West show. Bringing out the old classics such as 99 Problems and On To The Next One, as well as inviting guests Rihanna and M.I.A to join him on stage for his two hour set, Jay Z certainly did not disappoint.
However, the performance reached its climax when Kanye West appeared to perform a multitude of songs from their album Watch The Throne. Delighting fans with Otis, Who Gon' Stop Me and No Chruch In The Wild, an electric atmosphere was created as the set approached the grand finale. Kanye teased the audience with "but there's still one city we ain't taken y'all to yet" and everyone knew what was coming as "ball so hard motherfuckers wanna fine me" resonated around the immense crowd gathered to see hip-hop's finest duo perform Niggas In Paris. With glimpses of Beyonce moshing in the pit, everyone followed suit and absorbed the heavy beats that are impossible to resist moving to. It was bloody brilliant. The three encores. "AGAIN?" Three.
IT SOUNDS SO BEAUTIFUL DON'T YOU AGREE?

Extraordinary Swag And A Mouth Full Of Gold
Just a quick few words, I've been so busy revising lately. I've been reading so much French recently that I have genuinely begun talking to myself in the language. Oh mon dieu. Here's a few songs that I've been playing the heck out of when having study breaks, singing in the mirror.
Pyrite (Fools Gold)
Frank Ocean
Goldie
ASAP Rocky
No Church In The Wild
Jay Z & Kanye West ft. Frank Ocean
Quelle Surprise (Mols, seriously, quit it with the constant French) Frank Ocean has appeared again. He's just too perfect. I love Pyrite, his voice is so beautiful with the melancholy chord progression. Also, Goldie and No Church In The Wild are the perfect songs to blast through your speakers with their similarly addictive and constant basslines.
P.S. thankyou to Emily, Kate and Kendall from Trends With Benefits for the Versatile Blogger Award nomination.

Kanye
Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh Get The Theraflu.
Theraflu
Kanye West and DJ Khaled
Buzzing over this track like I don't know what. The repetitive electronic notes and pounding beat that Kanye always accompanies with his lyrics is just making me want to bust a move. Sadly, my mother is asleep so my cat sat next to me won't get to see me throwing some serious shapes. I sincerely hope you are lucky enough to break it down. Take it away.
