Zante Playlist

Lots of house music; that was all they played at the white party, and in many of the bars in fact. I bought the Pure Deep House album before I went back and played it non-stop while we were getting ready to go out. Yeah that's right we went back.

Met some Brazilians who taught us the Ai Se Eu Te Pego dance which was like a dream come true to be honest.

Anything Professor Green will remind me of the immense White Party on Cameo Island. Although, if I hear Read All About It I will most likely break down in tears. That was his last song and we were singing our precious hearts out to it.

The Sam Smith song reminds me of Hannah; we played it once during round 2 and she said she liked it. It was towards the end of out stay so it was a bit emosh.

Infinity is our song.

PS I can no longer sing the Wiggle song by Jason Derulo without changing the words to "Sizzle sizzle sizzle" - the name of a bar where I met my one true Scottish love. It's okay, I'll be alright.

If you want to see some of my pictures then you can go to my instagram which I started again.

I WOKE UP LIKE DISSS / Playlist

I'm going to try and do a monthly playlist because I love revisiting songs that I used to listen to. So here is my month of February in audio. Holla.

A rather multicultural (and multilingual) selection. I've become very much obsessed with Stromae, the Belgian dude who gave us Alors On Danse, which is an easy excuse to make myself believe I'm doing French revision at the same time. Listening to the latest Pro Era release and a lot of dancehall because it is the most uplifting music genre to exist.

I'd love to hear what everyone else is listening to!

Mbali Na Tanzania

I'M SO EXCITED. Tomorrow I shall be embarking on a month long expedition to Tanzania with Camps International in which I will have the opportunity to go scuba diving, go on a safari and, most importantly, help with community work...albeit if I have to arise at 3am, but it's obviously worth it. This calls for a Tanzania Playlist. I've only just started using 8tracks; it's such  good way to create playlists for every occasion. Imagining I'm travelling through African plains in a little safari Jeep, I was going for a chilled sunset vibe...but being my usual unpredictable self, I had to add a few dance bangers in there in case I feel  like raving. So, really, it's a random playlist of songs I like at the minute. Enjoy!

I Want You - Summer Camp
Morning Sun - Rock Mafia ft. Miley Cyrus
Who Knows Who Cares - Local Natives (Botaniks Remix)
Hanging On - Ellie Goulding ft. Tinie Tempah
Never Never - SBTRKT
California Sunrise - Dirty Gold
My  False - Matt Corby
Bad Girls - M.I.A
Levels - Avicii

I didn't want to schedule any posts while I'm away (what if there's a grammatical error that won't be corrected for four weeks?!) so I'll see you, my precious little blog, when I return.

Kwaheri!

February Workout Playlist

This evening i went to my local gym and, as well as signing up for a membership (i know, Mollie with a gym membership is an extremely out of the ordinary thought) I also went to a circuit class. Although i was at first a little bit reluctant, i actually thought it was quite fun. Anyways, the reason why i'm blabbing on about this is because the recent gym trip inspired me to create a 'workout playlist' which i thought i could share with everyone. It's also a chance for me to let out my inner gangster with all these heavy beated rap songs.

Bang It - KP ft. Lost Generation

Turn Me On - David Guetta ft. Nicki Minaj

Niggas In Paris - Jay-Z ft. Kanye West

My Name Is Skrillex - Skrillex

She Will - Lil Wayne ft. Drake

Avicii - Fade Into Darkness

Howlin' For You - The Black Keys

Rattle - Bingo Players

I'm just going to take a minute to express my love for the track Rattle by Bingo Players, it's so insanely catchy and the rhythm just makes me want to move each time i hear it...which i suppose is a good quality to have considering it's on my workout playlist. I also included some hip hop driven songs too; there's just something about the heavy beat that drives me to keep going. Plus, i tend to feel as if i belong in a Rocky-type scenario, right before he goes into the ring. Don't judge it's the only time i feel tough okay.

So i was pondering over whether i should make this a monthly feature seen as i've got back into running and exercising again after my very lazy birthday and Christmas period. Would you like to see this as a monthly post? Let me know in the comments and i'd also love to hear any songs that you like to use as motivation,
